Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese strongly condemned the deadly incident, describing it as a terrorist attack motivated by anti-Semitism. In an official statement, Albanese expressed his deep condolences to the families of the victims and stressed that acts of hatred and violence will not be tolerated in Australia.

“This was a despicable attack on innocent civilians and on the values that unite our nation. Australia stands firmly against terrorism and all forms of hate,” Albanese said.
In response to the attack, the Australian Government has raised the national security alert level, particularly at places of worship, public spaces, and community events. Security measures have also been tightened for Jewish communities across multiple regions to prevent any further threats.
Meanwhile, Australian police continue to conduct an intensive investigation to determine the motives and backgrounds of the perpetrators, as well as to assess whether additional individuals or networks were involved in the attack. Authorities are still gathering evidence and witness statements from the scene.
